Privacy Policy for "The Party Chest" Mobile Application

This section applies specifically to your use of our mobile application, The Party Chest (the "App").

1. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)

The App is designed for players of all ages, including children.

  • No Personal Information Collected: We do not knowingly collect, request, store, or share any personal information or persistent identifiers (such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location data, or device serial numbers) from any user, including children under the age of 13.
  • COPPA & GDPR Compliance: The App is fully compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Gameplay and Multiplayer Data

The App features local and online multiplayer capabilities using Peer-to-Peer (P2P) connections (WebRTC and local LAN).

  • In-Memory Profile Names: Players can choose a temporary profile display name to identify themselves in lobbies. This name is processed entirely in-memory on the players' devices and signaling channels. It is never saved, stored, or sent to Quaint Studios.
  • Stateless Room Codes: Room codes and signaling data used to negotiate WebRTC connections are routed instantly through Cloudflare Edge nodes. This data acts purely as a connection "postman," is never logged, and is destroyed immediately once the host disconnects.
  • No Tracking: We do not track, profile, or log your gameplay sessions.

3. Third-Party Services, Ads, and Analytics

  • No Ads: The App contains no advertising or ad-tracking networks.
  • No In-App Purchases: The App contains no microtransactions or store links.
  • No Third-Party Analytics: We do not collect analytics, telemetry, or crash data from your mobile device.
